Intro To Handguns

This course is designed to introduce new handgun owners, or those considering their first firearm purchase, to the basic use, safety and maintenance of personal firearms. You’ll also learn about the variety of available handguns and ammunition.

It’s also excellent preparation for the SC Concealed Weapons Permit course or any other advanced handgun training. Fee includes a FREE 30-Day Range Pass (does not include rentals, ammo, and targets).

PLEASE NOTE:  Class fees are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule a request must be sent by email three days prior to your class date.

AGE REQUIREMENT: 21+

PREREQUISITES: None

TIME: Approx. 3.5 hours

EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Handgun with 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection, and a valid driver license. If needed, a firearm and ear protection can be provided free of charge for course use. Eye protection and ammunition are also available for purchase (use of City Arsenal firearms requires the purchase of in-store ammunition).
