DESCRIPTION:The course covers the legal aspects of carrying a firearm and the laws governing the use of lethal force\, as well as safety\, firearms and ammunition options. A written and shooting test will follow the class session. \nThe cost of this class also includes fingerprinting and certified letter postage to mail the application to SLED. Plus\, students receive Fee includes two (2) complimentary Range Passes (offer does not include rentals\, ammo\, or targets). \nPLEASE NOTE: Class fees are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule\, a request must be sent by email three days prior to your class date. \nEQUIPMENT NEEDED: Handgun with at least 50 rounds of ammunition\, eye and ear protection\, and a valid South Carolina Driver License with current address. A firearm and eye/ear protection can be provided free of charge for course use if needed (use of City Arsenal firearms requires the purchase of in-store ammunition). \nPREREQUISITES: None. DESCRIPTION:This course is designed to introduce new handgun owners\, or those considering their first firearm purchase\, to the basic use\, safety and maintenance of personal firearms. Students will learn about a variety of available handguns and ammunition. Into To Handguns is also excellent preparation for the SC Concealed Weapons Permit course or any other handgun training. Fee includes two (2) complimentary Range Passes (does not include rentals\, ammo\, and targets). \nPLEASE NOTE: Class fees are non-refundable.
