Intro to Rifle begins with an overview of the basic design\, features\, and controls of the AR-15. Students will learn about various sighting systems\, and zeroing sights and optics. The classroom session is followed by a range session\, during which students will practice properly loading\, firing\, and unloading their rifles\, as well as zeroing and adjusting sights and optics. \nAGE REQUIREMENTS: 18+ \nPREREQUISITES: None. \nTIME: Approx. 3 hours. \nEQUIPMENT NEEDED: Semi-Auto rifle with sight (required) 100 rounds of ammunition\, magazine\, eye and ear protection\, and a valid driver license. We continue applying the fundamentals\, while introducing the draw\, proper loading and reloading techniques\, and much more. \nAGE REQUIREMENTS: 18+ \nPREREQUISITES: Intro to Handgun \nTIME: Approx. 3 hours. \nEQUIPMENT NEEDED: Handgun with 100 rounds of ammunition\, hearing and eye protection\, quality inside or outside the waistband holster\, belt\, mag carrier. ( mag carrier is optional but useful). Eye protection and ammunition are available for purchase (use of City Arsenal firearms requires the purchase of in-store ammunition). City Arsenal handgun rentals do not come with holster or belt. We continue applying the fundamentals\, while introducing the draw\, proper loading and reloading techniques\, and much more. \nAGE REQUIREMENTS: 18+ \nPREREQUISITES: Intro to Handgun \nTIME: Approx. 3 hours. \nEQUIPMENT NEEDED: Handgun with 100 rounds of ammunition\, hearing and eye protection\, quality inside or outside the waistband holster\, belt\, mag carrier.
